For several years, I WAS an AKC breeder of miniature dachshunds and never once was I inspected. I am proud to say that I had a great breeding program and was definitely NOT a puppy mill. My puppies were all raised in home and had lots of attention, love, and socialization. I completed paperwork for AKC, but never heard from them other than to send me the forms to register my dogs and their pups.
