Best way to travel in car?

Hi,
Up until now we have traveled with Nala in her crate. We place it on the floor next to one of my boys. She travels well, but was wondering if this is the safest way? I have heard of a harness?

Good question.

I'm interested as well. Jack (18 Weeks)travels with us in his Kennel for long distances and for short distances he sits on seat. I'd rather he be secure-I tried a seatbelt on him yesterday-quick as lightning he was out of it :)

I finally got my Ruffwear Front Range harness for Jack. He loves it and so do I. It has 2 leash attachments- one on under or belly side-like when out doors can connect out door dog leash too and other on back/top side and latch walking leash too. No more collar and tags jangling-it has a velcro pocket for it. Many bonuses. 

Well in searching for answers to your original question I found on line an adjustable seat belt car clip-safety attachment. So it connects to your car . I'm going to try this out because we take a lot of short rides in town and I like to take Jack with :)  With the harness you attach lock latch to and then buckle the other to car... I have more pictures of Jack wearing his harness in my photos...

Thanks so much! I will look into this. Does this harness help with pulling? Nala still chokes herself at times when we go for a walk. Jack is just too cute!

Yes-definitely does.
Plus where the hook on back is theres a loop there as well to hold and have them walk right next to you :)

I mean on the bottom of leash that connects to loop on harness theres a handle like loop- just like top of leash for your hand :)
