Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
In order to get your daily fix of doodles, we have created a new Doodle Kisses Toolbar. This toolbar will be embedded in your browser and give you updates and links from DK while you are online, no matter what site you are on.
We have it set up to give links to the home page and various sections of DK, to give you a live feed of the latest activity, to give you a search box to search DK, and then several links to other including our Facebook page and our fundraising Amazon affliliate link.
Let me know what you think. Are there other helpful links that we should include? Should we eliminate any of the current toolbar links?
Can we get some testers for this? I want it to be really useful and could use your feedback on what functions / links work best for you.
This toolbar is provided by Amazon/Alexa and as such is rock solid from a security and privacy standpoint.
Go here to download it and check it out:

Let us know what you think. Thanks so much for helping create the most useful stuff for you, the best doodle owners in the world!
PS. Here is where it sits in your browser and what it looks like:
Note: Toolbars are compatible with Internet Explorer (PC & Mac), Firefox (PC & Mac), and Chrome (Windows only).

Thanks, Joanne. I think I got it, but I wanted to harass Clark just a bit :)
You can just click on OK to install or something like that. I had the same thing. I agree the programmer looks suspicious : )
You can't be too careful :)
If John says that guys with moustaches are suspicious... I think you should either:
1. Take his word for it because he obviously knows what he is talking about, or
2. Immediately be suspicious of his advice.
LOL....Clark, I see your point :)
Haha!
I think it's important that people be aware Alexa, the creator of this toolbar, tracks user information such as which buttons are clicked. That can be disabled, however.
Alexa/Amazon does track sites you visit but cannot track the links you click on. They do this for two reasons:
1) to give you more relevant Amazon / banner ads (I get motorcycle tires, Adina gets sippy cups).
2) to track web traffic and create their "Alexa Traffic Rank" for each site.
You can opt out of this tracking or turn cookies off in your browser (the only real way to stop tracking).
If you are concerned about taking up screen real-estate with another toolbar, the DK toolbar can be hidden/displayed with one click. There is a little DK icon placed in your browser that by clicking it once will either display or hide the DK toolbar. Here is a screenshot with the hide/display toggle circled in yellow. One click on that will either give you maximum screen space or maximum DK goodness. ;-)
Ha, I hid it and I can't find it. My toolbar doesn't look like yours. I use Firefox. No unused DK logos floating about.
Oh no!!! I'll have to fire up Firefox (or use Adina's computer) and troubleshoot this for you. In the meantime, I guess you don't have to worry about it taking up screen real estate. ;-)
I'll let you know what I find.
