Birds and Geese

Snickers has just discovered birds and geese. He will sit and stare at them and then go into stalking mode. Is this a hunting instinct or just my dog being silly. The geese particularly fascinate him while skeeving me out. So do your doodles "hunt"? Snickers will be 2 next mth and has not showed these tendencies before.

Yes, although Tara being a mini mainly goes for the little birds. The other day I discovered that she and the cat have teamed up in an effort to catch them! We have a long strip of rhododendron and azalea bushes and the little birds spend a lot of time in them for some reason.  The cat will sit at one end of the strip while Tara enters the other end and flushes the birds toward the her!!! So far the birds have outwitted them thank goodness!! What a pair!!

Choe is a big hunter and does this-she will even do it to a leaf or pice of paper blowing in the road. Myla she is clueless but ALWAYS knows when a squirrel is around!!!
