Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Saturday the Norfolk Botanical Gardens had a Fitness and Fido event. I had the gardens on my Fall bucket list so we headed off for the 50 mile trip. Haley was so excited.
Some of the other dogs and people..
Walking with his dad in the woods.
It's getting late and time to go home. The end of a beautiful day in the botanical gardens.
Haley had been on his feet from 10:30 A. M. when we left home until 6:00 P. M. when we got back. Needless to say, he was one pooped doodle. He had dinner and slept all night!
(Haley drinks well water. My bottle ran out and we filled it and his bowl from a fountain in the park and offered water to him. He took one sniff and walked away. Apparently he does not like water with chemicals in it. Fortunately we were almost back to the car where he had a big drink of well water that was in the car)

What a lovely day captured in wonderful images!
Thank you DJ.
What a nice idea. If more businesses had a Fido Day think of how many more of us would attend
Looks like a great day.
Spud drinks well water too and he too has turned up his nose to strange smelling water. I wonder though, because his teeth are so worn down if Fluoride would have helped him?
me too. I do use inexpensive tennis balls when we are away from home. Then, I dont mind loosing expensive Chuck It Balls to strange parks and fields. I usually just keep the Tennis Balls in the Glove Compartment and the good for the teeth-balls are home.
Socks, shirts, and the dish towels he carries around like Linus are hard to get rid of though.
Looks like a beautiful place to be. Your pictures were great, and Haley, he is as handsome as ever. That is one long tongue that he always has hanging out !
What a great way to spend a day! Thanks for posting - your photos are terrific!
It looks like it was a wonderful day!
