So.Calif Breeder: Worried about No callbacks?

Hi everyone,

We are new to this site and asking for your feedback and experience with the allocation/adoption of your puppy from a breeder.

We are supposed to pick up our labradoodle puppy on August 6th ( 2 days from this post ). After emails and text asking from information on our upcoming adoption, the breeder promised to get the address, location and time of our adoption on Monday ( 4 days ago ) and updated pictures of the litter. We have called, emailed and texted multiple times again this week and we have not heard from the breeder nor have they returned our communication attempts. We were also promised pictures and we have not gotten any updated pictures of our littler since July 4. My kids have been counting down the days and I am worried that in 2 days we will have to explain why their puppy isn't here.

We are growing increasingly concerned about the credibility of this breeder. We have already paid, at this point, $1300 via check that was cashed. With the financial and emotional investment we have made, we would like to know if anyone has experienced this when adopting their puppy. I am not one to put a negative light on a business but with only 2 days before our adoption and not a single communication from the breeder after multiple attempts, we are reaching out to the labradoodle community for feedback.

I am about ready to call and ask the breeder if DoodleLove picked up her doodle.

Same Here! It could also be a very well thought out scam too. Its happened before.(not specifically puppies) They get pictures off the internet, and make you pay this giant amount of money for whatever you are buying. Then you try to get in contact, but they ignore you. The website looks like a breeder site, so I am not completely sure of whats going on....

We are happy to announce that we have our new baby girl Cookie! We were able to contact the breeder and it was a case of miscommunication with emails not going through and wrong number. The breeder was wonderful to work with when we met. Thanks everyone!! We are now proud owners of the cutest Labradoodle puppy we've ever see !

We are happy to announce that all went well with our adoption! Thank you to everyone's input. We were able to contact the breeder and found out it was all miscommunication and that emails were being sent but not going through. We had a pleasurable experience working with them. We already SO in love with our puppy!!
