Has anyone used Thornit ear powder or unscented athlete's foot powder to stop persistent ear infections and itching between the toes?

I have not, we've been lucky. I have read that a few people did use it so I'm sure they will chime in. good luck (never heard of the toe thing though)
We have been using Thornit on our two Doodles for almost three years now. Lexi used to have chronic ear problems and since Thornit she has not had a single ear infection. Billy is our swimming Doodle, he swims several times a day all year long, and we use the Thornit as a preventative. He has never had an ear problem. We heve never tried unscented athletes foot powder on them.
I use Thornit as a preventative. I also use it on our Maltese who used to have persistent ear problems. Since we started no problems and pink clean ears. Don't know about between toes.
We use Thornit. We ordered from the UK. So far, so good. After 2 years of chronic ear infections in one ear, we have not had any since last summer.
I would not use ANYTHING in an ear without consulting your vet.
We have used Gold Bond powder for itching. It was suggested by our groomer, but I am not sure how long it worked or if it provided a lot of releif for the itching. Smelled good tho, lol. We stick with the Thornit.
I've been soaking Wally's front feet in Selsun Blue shampoo for the past week (as suggested by his veterinary dermatologist) and just started to apply Desenex athlete's foot powder to the skin between two of his toes (the area with what appears to be yeast), so we'll see if that combination resolves the problem on his feet.
I am waiting to hear back from his regular vet regarding the use of Thornit, which was recommended by my sister-in-law, who is a breeder.
Wally is in the final few weeks of a food elimination diet to see if the ear infections and itchiness between his toes is due to a food allergy. I am almost certain that this isn't the case, given that he developed a new ear infection about a month into the limited diet. But since I was instructed to keep with the prescribed diet for two months, I might as well follow through.
Thanks for everyone's input. If anyone has any additional suggestions, I'm all ears!
