I have my dogs on a pretty good schedule. Almost every afternoon, we go for a walk up at the park. Yesterday, we went out in the morning and just when we were about home, my tire light came on again. I knew we were stranded at the house, so in the afternoon I took them for a quick walk in the field that runs next to our yard. Apparently, Fudge did not get the memo that we would not be driving any place else for our afternoon walk. I don't remember why my car door was open, but whenever I checked on the dogs, Fudge was sitting in the car just waiting for us to leave. When I went to get the camera, of course, Vern had to jump in too, to make sure he was not being left at home alone or missing out on anything.

By now, Vern deserted the ship. He is a mover and a shaker and this was taking way too long. Fudge remains patient:
Hey Lady.....Get the keys, already!!!
I bet she sat in that van waiting for over an hour. She was not impressed when I told her I had things to do and we were not going for a walk. The good news was I knew she was not digging in the yard. I think I will leave my van open more often. Do you have a very patient dog too?
P.S. Please excuse the messy car. I could make some lame excuse, but this is how it usually looks with two dogs in it every day!

Aww Fudge, sorry you and Vern didn't get to go to the park, it looks like it would have been a great day to go. You are such a good girl for being so patient.
