Hey Everyone!
My Doddle is a year old and he still loves to chew on my pants, my arms and my shoes. When will this stop?!! AHH LOL :)
In the meantime I was told to buy soup bones, marrow bones, etc. that this will take away the constant urge and really keep my pup occupied. I currently give him these....See picture below.
Are these good and safe? Or should I use something else?
Suggestions please and thank you!

I have given Max marrow bones but they do smell and make his coat greasy. I recommend antlers a bit costly but they are very strong and last a long time and he will chew on one for hours.
I have many antlers, but he has started to get bored of them. I have no issue with the Marrow bones really, but they are raw...so I don't want raw bones and that bloody part all over my furniture, floor, carpet, etc.
Antlers don't work for me, I bought Max an antler which cost me 23$ and it was pretty big, and I had to take it away from Max in about 2 hours because he had chewed it down to a nub that could have choked him. :(
I do give marrow bones, and soup bones, but only outside cause they are stinky and gross but he loves them.
Yeah, see thats ideal...unfortunately, I live in a major city and we don't really have a backyard...only at my parents house, so I guess thats the only time for me to give him the soup and marrow bones. ugh...oh well. I could let him play out back in our little patio but soup and marrow bones all over the little cement patio will absolutely attract rats in a city. That I do not want! LOL
Antlers didn't work for us either. Skadi is raw fed and raw bones to chew on are okay as long as you aren't worried that their teeth will chip...there's always that chance. Stay away from the hard large bones like femur. Bully sticks may be an option if you don't have to worry about calories. They make them non odorous...so they can chew them inside the house.
Maybe you could get him one of those rubber washable mats, and allow him to have it in the house but only on the mat?
My pet store does sell these really great bones that Max loves, they are from Canada (I'm in Canada) But I'm not sure of the brand of them, those aren't bad in the house and they last a long time, I can look at the brand next time I'm in the petstore and write it down if you want? They're actually very well priced, I can get a huge bone for like 13$ and so far Max has not been able to chew those up in a day lol.
I freeze the marrow bones (after removing about 2/3 of the marrow - what I remove I freeze to put in kong treats later on). After Truffle hollows it out, I wash the bone and fill it with pumpkin and freeze it again. The pumpkin-stuffed marrow bones serve as his crate treats when we go out. Our little guy loves them!
Have you tried Bully Sticks. They come in all sizes. They do smell so try the ones which are odorlless (they don't smell as bad). Check out bullystick.com.
That's where I buy our bullysticks, in bulk and I split the lot with a co-worker. I like the 12" extra thick ones-they last awhile. Once they are 3" or less I toss them since I think they are a choking hazard any smaller.
The biting will stop!
