Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Hi,
My Goldendoodle chews up any toy that is made with cloth. If it has a squeeker, it is a goner.
Does anyone have a recommendation for toys that cannot be chewed to distruction? I sure could use some guidance here.

West Paw Zogoflex toys- they are wonderful and you can send the toy back with packaging for a one-time replacement if your dog manages to destroy the toy :)
I've never heard of this brand before. We're going to have to check it out!
Our goldendoodle does the same thing Granted, she's only 8 months old. We finally gave up on the soft toys and only bought rubber-type toys for her. Kongs are great. We fill hers with peanut butter and then freeze it. That keeps her busy and entertained for quite a while!
NOPE! One of my dogs can destroy a toy with a squeaker in minutes (or less). There are a few toys that seem to last longer, but it is hit or miss. I try to buy the 'broken' (squeaker doesn't work) toys and get a discount. My guys prefer something with floppy parts like teddy bears or braided fleecy ropes.. We have the Tuffy Shack Shark that Ro recommended. It resisted tearing for longer than most any other toy we have had and even though it was no longer pristine, the dogs played with it some.
Check out GoDog toys. My Moose loves his and hasn't been able to destroy them even after 6 months.
I second the West Paw - this is one of Myla's favourite toys - there is a hole in the centre that we sometimes put peanut butter or treats in, but even without, this is her go-to toy - she also destroys stuffies and anything with a squeaker! What I love about this West Paw is that it is not as hard as the Kong, which Myla can take it or leave it - when she mouths this, it sort of squeaks (rubbing on her teeth) which she loves!
This is another of Myla's favourites! We actually put a squeaky from a destroyed stuffy in it and she loves trying to get it to squeak! The grandkids love throwing this for her also as it's easy to take from her (not all gooey:)
Our labradoodle loved her duck from Amazon. She played tug a war with the puggle. She tried to play with my daughter's boxer and the duck got eviscerated. I restuffed, sewed and washed it and ok again. Think I will reinforce with the sewing machine. Kong toys are pretty resilient.
