Chewing the bark of a tree

Here it goes does anyone have any advice Willson loves to get the bark off trees, I keep saying leave it but when we have play time he likes to go to the tree and eat the bark!!!! I guess he needs more fiber??? When he does it the other pups like to join in anyone else have that problem???
