we called our vet today and they said to just watch them, it was probably something they ate and as long as they eat and drink good they should be fine

So I got home from work early and DH said she has perked up and her stool is still loose, but not throwing up or whining. He called the ER vet and they said that we should give it 24 hours and limit their food and see if she gets better. It may have been for eating grass or maybe dirt/mud  the day before? I'm still worried, Myla hasn't pooped since I left for work (normal) so we will see in a few hours if she has improved.

Thanks for your comments and help, I'll let you know if there is improvement or a vet trip. Thanks!

Chloe is 7 now and yesterday she started whining by the door to go out and she wouldn't go in the yard. My husband took her out to the front of the gate and she started throwing up on the sidewalk.

Then he took her for a short walk and she had some very watery/loose stool and lots of it. She did not eat anything out of the norm in fact they didn't have a treat when I went to work except for a piece of their Orijen-6 fish. Later last night, Hubby took Myla out (6 yrs) and she had the same type of stool.

I'm very worried about Chloe, around midnight last night she threw up UNDER OUR BED. This morning she still wanted her breakfast, but then laid right in front of the door. I took her out and she pulled me to the front to go out front again but it's 4am, dark and foggy so I'm waiting a bit to walk her. I picked her up to put her in the back and she only peed. The whole time I had her in the hall her tail has been tucked under instead of the normal wag. She laid against my feet at the bathroom sink while getting ready for work and she's making little moaning sounds and plopping over on her side. I also noticed her ears are really warm. She's laying down, but seems restless (changing positions) She looks so tired. Not sure what to do, of course these things happen on the Holiday when the vet is closed and this time it's my holiday to work.  It's going to be a long day worrying about her.

Any advice on what it might be? What I could do to make her feel better? They are on constant supervision inside and out, so she didn't eat anything she shouldn't. Myla's stool doing the same thing worries me also.

Thanks guys!

You must have an emergency vet in your area, yes? If it were my dog that's what I would do.

Me too.....please keep us posted.  I hope this is nothing serious.

Is DH home?  Can he get her to the emergency Vet?  That would be my suggestion.

Definitely, she needs to see a vet. Hope it's not serious.

Ditto.

I would take her to the vet, too! I am so sorry she doesn't feel well. Please keep us posted.

I'd get her to the emergency vet.  The runs wouldn't worry me as much as her seeming to be in distress.  Hoping your DH can do it.  Please keep us posted.

I also agree.  Hopefully it's nothing serious but we're all thinking of you and Chloe today!

I would take them both to the vet right away, since both Chloe and Myla are exhibiting some of the same symptoms.

Jennifer, I'm really late coming in on this but I'm very concerned about Chloe too. Please let us know how she is doing.

I do hope the girls are ok, waiting to hear an update.

I'm with everyone else, it's vet time.  And I would take both dogs.
