To the lovely young mom of two children and a dog who bravely rescued a very stressed doodle from a local shelter as he was slated to be euthanized: 

We met at the Volkswagen car show in Tennessee when you came over to pet my goldendoodle -Sophie.  Just want you to know I am rooting for you!  Crossing my fingers that you are checking out this site as I suggested.  As you shared your story about your challenges with the new addition my heart went out to you.  I know you want to do the right thing for this dog and I really admire you for reaching out to save his life.  I also understand that it is extremely challenging raising children and trying to integrate a new dog who has had no training and who is stressed by his stay in the shelter.  I hope my advice helped a little.  I also hope that you can find a good professional trainer to help you.  But if things get too overwhelming  and you make the difficult decision that he needs more help than your family can provide please remember that the Doodle Rescue Collective is a wonderful option.  All the contact info you need is on this site. Or here is a link http://doodlerescue.org/.   I so hope you are here and allow this group to encourage you.  I regret not getting your name and contact info.  Hoping to connect with you again.  Thinking of you, your family and your doodle.  My very best to you,  Valarie
