Good news although the action should have come sooner.

I guess that after three years of these treats killing and making dogs sick (Allyson's Taquito has permanent kidney damage from the Waggin' Train jerky, we've been warning people about it for three years in the Food Group), Nestle's and Del Monte must be worried that the lawsuits might cut into their profits if they let it go on any longer.

I'm glad they finally did this, but they certainly don't deserve any medals for it.

Thankful for this site. As a new dog owner, I had them in my cabinets! So glad to see this! People would never buy something they knew was bad!
Donna, I agree. This is an awesome site for people who are first-time dog owners.

Good news but too little too late.  I just don't think there's enough well organized consumer pressure on these companies or on the FDA.  Would love to see a class action suit someday against the FDA for allowing ANY food products from China into this country.
