Clavamox and Metacam

Chloe is on Clavamox for kennel cough its her last day to take it tomorrow, and i was given Metacam for Pano (growing pains) the vet told me to give it to her as needed but didnt mention if i could while taking the Clavamox. Does anyone know if this is safe?

i am sorry again! im tuckered out today! lol

He did say once a day as needed meaning not every day only if she is in a lot of pain. But he never did mention taking it while on Clavamox. I didnt want to risk it thats why i havent given it to her already but seeing her in pain breaks my heart.

I don't know for this specific anti inflammatory but in general an antibiotic and an anti inflammatory should be OK. Since tomorrow is her last day, why not hold off til Tues. with the Metacam.

some days are worse then others, yesterday only a slight limp but otherwise was a pretty happy girl. Today shes been laying around hasnt eaten as much as normal (but is still eating) and just bumming around looking at me to do something for her with those puppy eyes. I am going to try to hold off, ill take it as as long as shes not whinning or crying she is ok

My vet has on multiple occasions, given my previous dog clavamox and metacam to be taken on the same day.
