Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I know this questions has come up in a million different ways...but I'm still unsure what kind of coat my labradoodle has. I was told by the breeder it was fleece, but when I took him to a groomer recently she said he was likely to have a "curly coat" when he's an adult and not fleece. So is a curly coat a hair coat? Neo is a 7 month old F1B and started shedding like crazy about two months ago. He seems to be a mix of the coat descriptions. He doesn't have an undercoat, his rump is frizzy and coarse, his underside and legs are straighter, his face/head are curly and he has some fleecy feeling patches on his head and scruff. He's very soft and fluffy in general. Any breeders, groomers, or doodle-lovers who can tell me what his adult coat might be like? Thanks!

He's the most awesome dog, but he'd be even more awesome if he stopped shedding. :)

I'm no help but he sure is cute!
I'll tell him. :)
Thanks for the input. By blend do you mean a blend of fleece and hair?
He's currently shedding as much as my golden retriever did every spring, so maybe he's just blowing his puppy coat. He's also turning silver in a lot of areas, so 6 months from now I could have an entirely different dog! Thanks for your input--I wasn't sure if coats could be a mix of types, so that helps.
