From what I'm reading he may of take after the receiver side which may not benifit our allergies...

It does look like he will have the straighter coat like a retriever. Either way he is a cutie.

Yes, I agree that he looks a little more like the retriever side.  He has a darling face and beautiful coloring.  Enjoy him.

He's got waves behind his ears I'm hoping it changes my kids have horrible allergies..... I'm so torn if I should wait for next litter. I'd be heartbroken to get him home and then him make my kids sick .... Any suggestions???

In all  honesty I believe that you should go with a purebred dog (like a poodle)  that guarantees you will not have shedding.  You can have the poodle cut just like the curlier doodles (which is you best chance with a doodle but still not guaranteed).  If you don't shave the face then it will look just the same.  You could also ask the breeder not to dock the tail on the poodle (no real reason to anyway).  There are just too many doodles in rescue right now because of allergies.  It isn't fair to bring a puppy into a home and then realize he has to be re-homed in a few months because of something you were aware of upfront.  You have taken the most valuable months of a puppies life away from the new owners.  Those months are when socialization and training need to be key.  My 30 year old niece has never had any issues when coming to my house until the other day.  She was sneezing like crazy and her eyes were watering.  My oldest doodle is 8 ... so why now ... who knows.  I suspect it was the saliva as she was tossing a toy but who knows.

Yea. I thought I did enough research before committing. This makes me sad. But I want him to find a forever home. And with me if he sheds a lot won't be the case and that' not fair to my kids or him

I only see your profile picture.  Is there another one we could see that is larger?

There's one on my page or I can message you

Allergies are tricky.  With a mixed breed dog there are zero guarantees, but this pup does look like he could potentially shed.

Doodles are a crap shoot, there are no guarantees. If my kids had allergies, I wouldn't go the doodle route. I would go with a poodle or another non shedding breed or a mixed breed where both parents are non shedding. I have an f1b and she is 75% poodle. She is a non shedder. But at the same time I have heard of some f1b's that do shed.
