Color change

Our Bentley is a 10 month old chocolate labradoodle. He is starting to have what I call "grey hair" the ones I would get covered in the salon...lol
Would anyone know if this is the start of a color change for him? He also has one long strand of white hair on his tail.
I am part of the chocolate doodle forum but there hasn't been any action there for a while.

[Bonnie and Kona]

Kona was jet black when we got him at 8 weeks. He very gradually changed to a "pewter" color. He didn't stop changing color until he was at least 3 years old. Actually he is six now and I think his face has more blond in it than before. Maybe this is a life-long fade. ;o)

[Nicky, Riley & Boris]

Riley was dark chocolate when he was a puppy and now he is a late/lavender with all sorts of colors in his coat, when I look closely there are blond,grey, black and red in there and depending on where the light is shining it changes. His nose is rose and his eyes are hazel/ brown. People are always stopping to admire his color. It's lovely to watch all the changes as these chocolate doodles grow.
