I know some of us like to occasionally feed our Doodles dried cranberries.  I just found out from someone who works at Sunmaid that they are the only ones who make dried cranberries from the whole berry.  All the other companies sell the cranberry skin after being juiced.  One look side by side and you can see the difference.  I have to believe that whole berry is better than just the skin, no?  FYI

I honestly don't know. With many fruits, the skin contains more nutrients than the pulp.

But I have a very hard time believing that Sunmaid is the only company that sells the whole dried cranberries. I'll have to go check the ones I have in the house.

I just bought a package of organic dried cranberries from Trader Joes.  I decided on the organic not just because they were organic, but because they were larger and more plump.  I'm glad I went with the organic because they taste much better.  Don't know if they are more nutritious, but they certainly taste better.

I agree on the TJ's cranberries - tastier, plumper,  organic and cheaper, - -  the dog loves them (when she gets them) ,  and I think they may be better on sugar than the Sunmaid,
