Cut Bump on Carpal Pad - Anyone have experience with this?

Paddy got this small bump off of his front right carpal pad about 3.5 weeks ago where it almost looked like it was a cut coming off of it. We had him at the vet 2 weeks ago where she said it didn't look like anything to be concerned about, however he has been biting at it recently still and it looks like it has gotten much worse and looks like it definitely should be something of concern. I spoke with the vet and am bringing him in again this weekend for her to look at him, but she said it looks as if it could potentially be a papilloma or something on it and could potentially have to be removed/sent for biopsy to be safe.

Has anyone had anything like this on their goldendoodle or have any insight as to what it might be? Not sure how serious this could be!

My Doodles have never had anything like this, but I think it's good that you're bringing him in for the Vet to check out.  Please let us know what you find out....hopefully it's nothing of concern.
