Cutest Dog Competition at dog.com

ALERT - Last night, Rags & Holly had 342 votes in the Cutest Dog Competition. This morning, Rags & Holly have 4 votes. I believe dog.com has some serious problems with their web site contest. I feel it's important to share this information as I know other DK doods are entered in this competition.

When I voted for Rags and Holly this morning which I just did it said they have 343 votes...When you Vote if you back out of the site after voting it does not count your Vote. That is one of glitches I found with this site. ......

I checked at 1:50 PM today and Rags & Holly have 79 votes.

We can continue voting for DK doods and hope dog.com doesn't drop more votes!!

I emailed dog.com this morning when it showed Rags & Holly had 4 votes and received a generic response.

At first I did also Bev, but than they did email me back again and they didn't understand my question in the first place so I re-emailed them again and waiting on a reply.

Also, some people seem to be using some sort of spurious voting since some dogs have thousands of votes. maybe they will be able to straighten this out within the 11 weeks left in the contest.

Voting is on a weekly basis, if you have complaints best to use the contact us on the site..they do write you back because I made them aware of the go back with voting and they responded..stupidly ...but i did write them back and tried to explain this to them again...if they hear more complaints they might do something...

This is the response I got back from Cutest Dog Competition, if you file a complaint and tell them what is going on...they will deal with it, if you don't and let it go than it will keep happening...more have to complain for this to be honest.

I am passing your issue to my IT People. WE will see what can be done

Yes we all know you can only vote 1x per IP address, per 24hours. My problem is when we vote, if we use the go back button, it is NOT registering the vote. We all have different ISP's and live in different states, if they use their back buttons it is not registering their votes either. I don't have a problem about honesty, but I do when it's not registering votes because of a back button.

The contest will only allow one vote per IP address per 24 hour day.
If everyone had different e-mails but the same IP, only one vote counts.
This is the only way we can keep the contest honest...no multiple gmail or
hotmail accounts from the same people.
