Cyclists!! Please help me!

Hello DKers!

I am a graduate student at Colorado State University in the department of Design and Merchandising (and a happy mama to my 5mo ALD) and am developing a product line for serious and professional female (road) cyclists.  In order to understand what your wants and needs are, I have developed a short survey.  This survey will ask questions about your cycling behaviors (i.e. frequency, preferred season), your cycling apparel (what you do/don't like), as well as some other demographic and psychographic-related questions.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete, and there are no known risks associated with your participation.  You may withdraw from the survey at any time.

Well, my husband is the real cyclist, but I also have both road and mountain bikes and do cycle once in a while.  I can't keep up with my husband and have two dogs to walk, so seldom ride unless it is with the BTL (bike tow leash) and we each have a dog.

From Boulder---we are getting our doodle in December....can't wait!

As an avid runner and cyclist and hiker I hate, hate, hate shorts that are too tight or too girly. I want sensible sport clothing that fits well, doesn't chafe, doesn't make me look like a target and wears well...I'm so glad you are designing clothes like this so I don't have to go into that business.

My current hates for running: long shirts! As a woman with long limbs and a very short waist these clothes bunch up at my middle and look stupid. I have buy shirts and cut them off. Petites don't fit in other important ways. I might be in the minority but I also don't like running "skirts"---I run a lot of miles alone and hate clothes that mark a woman from a long ways off.

One more thing for an active girl/woman---I'd love an easy to use armband for my iphone that accommodates the LifeProof case [that thing has saved my phone so many times when I've dropped it into water and down mountainsides].
