Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Just recently I posted a blog about Daisy loving my afternoon charge, Noah my friends 7 month old....she is also in love with Sophia next door who is turning 2 on the 18th. Today at work one of my customers brought in her little girl Cassy who is 3....she is from Mexico and barely speaks English but she knows Daisy and calls out to her when she comes in Daisy, Daisy, Daisy...well, true to form my Daisy loves her too.
I can't believe I am so lucky, she is a gentle giant and it's all her. My last dog would have nothing to do with little people and I never let him go near them after the first incident. I was nervous the first 50 times she met a child or baby but no more. Of course you always have to be aware but pretty it's pretty obvious Daisy has good manners when it comes to children and babies.
Cassy's Mom snapped this picture, isn't it cute.

Ha ha, Daisy will catch a glimpse of a little one in the distance but she looks at me as if asking "can we" most of the time it's no because parents, and rightfully so, need to make the first move, not ur.
Hattie has the mothering instinct, you can tell from her first video meeting with Theo.
My two are fine with kids on leash. Luca would bowl them over in his joy if I let him. That photo is adorable.
I think Tara would be fine if the kids were on a leash too! LOL!
Ricki, you crack me up.
Thanks F.
Luna is very good with kids - she wags, freezes and lets them pet her. She has had babies pull at her fur, kids pat her in the not-so-gentle clumsy kid way... and she either just stands there or calmly walks away if she doesn't like it.
I feel very lucky that Luna is so good around small people like your Daisy!
Amazes me because if I pull Daisy's fur with a brush she lets me know. Good girl Luna.
What a good girl Daisy!!! Tara wants nothing to do with children and as yet has not figured out what species they are from. Of course children are a lot bigger to Tara than they are to Daisy! She mainly loves men and thinks they are doodle candy.
Ha ha, why be bothered with someone unless she gets something out of it. Smart doodle.
Doris my Zach hated anyone under 5 feet tall, he tolerated is human sister most of the time but even she got the warning growl. Spent 15 years keeping him away.
When Daisy first started showing interest I was a nervous wreck.
Flash is a shining "Light".
