Just recently I posted a blog about Daisy loving my afternoon charge, Noah my friends 7 month old....she is also in love with Sophia next door who is turning 2 on the 18th. Today at work one of my customers brought in her little girl Cassy who is 3....she is from Mexico and barely speaks English but she knows Daisy and calls out to her when she comes in Daisy, Daisy, Daisy...well, true to form my Daisy loves her too.

I can't believe I am so lucky, she is a gentle giant and it's all her. My last dog would have nothing to do with little people and I never let him go near them after the first incident. I was nervous the first 50 times she met a child or baby but no more. Of course you always have to be aware but pretty it's pretty obvious Daisy has good manners when it comes to children and babies.

Cassy's Mom snapped this picture, isn't it cute.

How are your doodles with the under 4 foot people?

Allyson, isn't it time for a photo opp soon, Charlotte must be changing so much. Glad that Peri loves her so much.

Adorable photo Lisa!

Buddy loves kids, and would sit by them for hours just to have them touch him.  At first I was leary with Kona and kids, as she would always bark at them.  But after a few years, it is for certain, she is barking to get them to play... once she knows them, she is a sweety with them.

This is one of my all time favorites of Kona with her bestest boy Derrik

Love!!!!

Aww..this one's wonderful!

I told Derrik's mom I would print all the photos of these two together through the years for her.  They are such special friends :)  I'll have to make a picture book for myself...

That will be a really special gift for sure.

How terrific. The above picture is great!

What a sweet photo!

Great photo!

Gina, I want more....please get busy, this is the most adorable photo ever.

Kona adores children and always has. He is also a gentle giant 90+ pounds. He is not a licker or jumper. He just slides up beside little ones and attends to their every move. It's the cutest thing. Owen is a lot more exuberant which is hard on tiny ones, but he is completely enamored with children. Our five year old granddaughter gives him commands and he obeys them instantly (oh, if only he were as obedient with us!?!) When our grandchildren leave both dogs are depressed.

Ha ha, nothing like seeing a 5 year old boss the dog, I'll bet the dogs are not the only ones she bosses, ha ha.
