DaisyDoodle loves her some little ones

Just recently I posted a blog about Daisy loving my afternoon charge, Noah my friends 7 month old....she is also in love with Sophia next door who is turning 2 on the 18th. Today at work one of my customers brought in her little girl Cassy who is 3....she is from Mexico and barely speaks English but she knows Daisy and calls out to her when she comes in Daisy, Daisy, Daisy...well, true to form my Daisy loves her too.

I can't believe I am so lucky, she is a gentle giant and it's all her. My last dog would have nothing to do with little people and I never let him go near them after the first incident. I was nervous the first 50 times she met a child or baby but no more. Of course you always have to be aware but pretty it's pretty obvious Daisy has good manners when it comes to children and babies.

Oliver absolutely loves little kids, or big kids, lol...We have a neighbor down the street that calls me when her grandchildren are here, ages 3 and 5, to ask if Oliver can come out and play with them.  He is my gentle giant too. Of course as u say, u always have to be watchful, but I am very at ease when he is around children.  Oliver loves everyone of all ages, lol...I am very lucky in that respect....

My neighbor brings her nephew. He is the one who, when the dogs were jumping and I gave the sit command, promptly sat on the ground : ) That was when he was about two.

Lucky you! How does he do with other dogs? Daisy doesn't like to many others.

Love the picture!! Daisy is one special Doodle. This will surprise you, but Vern is a bit frightened of kids. His eyes take on a "deer in the headlight" look, but once he sees how Fudge reacts usually he is fine.  Fudge is very good with children. Fudge loves anyone willing to rub her tummy and behind her ears.
