Has anyone tried this brand? Our local Petsmart is going to start selling it. Appearently it's fresh enough that it's kept in a cooler display case like in a supermarket. So any opinions (good, bad, indifferent) are welcome.
I thought I remembered seeing something about it on DK also Leigh. But nothing showed up on searches here. On their website (www.delifreshpet.com) you can put in your zip code to find retailers that carry it. There are a few in the DC area. I think I remember seeing it displayed at the Pet Expo last year.
Hello....Our Petsmart started carrying that brand last year sometime....we had a coupon for a free "log"...so, we tried it...the doodles did like it....I used it mainly for treats....it smells good to me....
I think it could be pricey if you used for their main food intake.....
We have used this and do it as you do Marcia as treats. We cut the log in rounds and then pie shaped wedges within each round. Our dogs like it and voluntarily head to their crates just by removing it from the fridge. We have purchased this from our premium food store and feel pretty good about its soundness. I agree with Marcia, probably not cost effective as main food source though a very good value for the quality if used for treats - it goes a long way as such. It is also useful for stimulating appetites for finicky or poor eaters or any other instance that could benefit from extra calorie consumption.
