Do any of your Doodles have long curly eyelashes?

I can't believe how long and curly Sheeba's eyelashes can become if I let them grow out too long. They will obstruct her vision, they grow so long and curly. When I have her groomed, I make sure they clip her eyelashes when they are out of control.

Shelby has long beautiful Gold Eyelashes!  They are definitely part of her personality...GrrDoodle!

Wow! I'm amazed how many doodles have long eyelashes. I need to find a photo of Sheeba with her long lashes. I try to keep them trimmed, because they can become wild & crazy. Her's grow long and it seems they grow downward with lot's of curl. If they become too long before I take her to the groomer's I will wash the eye area and try to brush her lashes up with a cloth.

I was concerned at first about having her lashes trimmed short, not knowing if it would bother her eyes. She seems to do well and I'm sure she would rather see than have long eyelashes.

Those are some long lashes!! Just wish Sheeba's weren't so curly and unruly.

Luca has very long, wavy, caramel eye lashes but alas, Calla's eyelashes are not long.

 This is the best photo I could find for now. This was taken in Oct of 2009 and you can see her eyelashes curling downward. Her lashes have been longer than this in the past. If I let them go without cutting, they will block her eyes.

When I first realized what was coverin her eyes...I was amazed myself. I had never seen a dog with eyelashes like that. I try to keep them trimmed, but every once in awhile they get out of control.

I wonder if this is how poodle eyelashes grow? It's a good thing Sheeba has a mommy with a pair of sharp scissors. Otherwise she would need her own seeing eye dog!! :(
