Do any of your female doods display unladylike behavior?

[Allyson, Peri & Taquito]

Peri has started to "mark" outside when peeing. She will follow Taquito and right after he goes potty, she squats and lifts her left leg about 4 inches off the ground. She looks like Thumper the Rabbitt!  And Taquito squats to pee; he never lifts his leg (well, hardly ever)!

 

Do any of your doods do this?  It is so weird!  It is not every time, but I would say at least once a day she is doing this.  We crack up! 

 

Any other lady doods have some unladylike behaviors??  For those with male doods, do they display any ladylike behaviors?  Ha - just thought we might get some funny ones here.

 

Oh and Peri burps after EVERY meal.

Sunny burps after every meal too! And sometimes randomly between meals. She scares herself with her own burps, actually. The first time she let a really loud one out, she jumped and then looked at me accusingly.

 

She also licks herself in the middle of the floor if I have people over.

Rosey will burb sometimes, Bandit likes to hump his sister on occassion.. I have never witnessed him try this with any other dog!!

The only unladylike thing I saw today was girls humping girls.  I took my grandpup Luna to her dog park.  I am dog sitting while my daughter and her husband are in Hawaii.  I had to leave Gracie Doodle home with DH.  There were five girl dogs all trying to hump each other.  I was sitting with my daughter's group of friends and one of the men made the comment to the girl dogs..."We don't do that here...go on up to San Francisco if you want to do that!"  I am in San Jose, CA!  Hey, is there a full moon tonight??

[Meridith and Lola]

Lola has become a very big marker - especially when she is off leash in Central Park.  I have nicknamed her Little Miss Marker.  It amazes me how much she holds in so can mark and she doesn't always have the opportunity - especially if the weather is bad and the walk is short or on leash.  She also lifts her leg like thumper.

[Frannie & Callie]

Let's see...Callie enjoys sleeping with her "girl bits" exposed to the universe, belches, licks her own privates and tush (and others if the opportunity presents itself), gleefully rolls in mud (and I feel lucking when it's only mud!), farts like it's her job, pees where every dog has ever peed, and plays rough. The only thing that is ladylike about Callie is her appearance!!!!

Myla burps all day long even in your face if she was so cute I'd...(Just kidding)

Myla also "cleans" herself while sitting in the big picture window on the back of the couch

Myla thumps her foot when she poops and then she "marks" her spot by kicking up the grass behind her

 

Chloe and Myla sniff eachother after potty time to see what they did and then they sniff eachother's mouth to see if they got a treat and they didn't!

I know Huff is not a girl but I just wanted to join in by saying that he doesn't mark. I don't think he ever has. He rarely even lifts his leg. I am glad he doesn't mark because if he did, he would be peeing all over the place in our shop. He sometimes sniffs where other dogs have peed (we clean it with disinfectant and everything but I guess they can still smell it. The other day we even had an intact boxer pee on his owner's leg!)  but never does anything about it. I am glad though:)

LOL  Hunter is a total burper after every meal.  She is far from ladylike!   I think Peri is just showing that girls can do it all ;-)

[J and Riley (and Luna)]

Luna burps after every meal too!  She also sticks her face in her water bowl and blows bubbles... and does the same to mud puddles. At the dog park in the Winter when we had a thaw, she was also the only dog to run straight through the slush puddles.

 

Definitely not very ladylike ;)

[Christine + Ellie]

Ellie's been doing this for awhile now too. Maybe it's all the dogs in NYC. We all call her a "tripod" since just about 99.9% of the time she has one leg up while she goes to the bathroom. Not sure if why she does it but it happens all the time!

hahaha, that's too funny!! My parents' dog (she's a hound mix) lifts her leg while peeing EVERY time. I don't know what it is!!! She also used to hump my Lola (very disturbing for me to watch)...but now LOLA humps other dogs....not all the time, only ones she knows well, LOL. We have friends who have a male Weimaraner, and Lola humps him ALL the time, it's so embarassing. When laying on the couch, she often takes on a VERY unladylike position. She lays o her back or side with her legs wiiide open. We actually use the term "unladylike" when we tease her about it :)
