Do My Doodles Look like Mops??

Yesterday, I went to the Butcher shop to get Fudge and Vern some dog bones. Whenever I get out of my car, Fudge always jumps right into the driver's seat to wait for me and Vern takes the passenger seat. I could see them clearly from inside the store. I was paying for my bones and a woman came in and said, "Hey somebody is waiting for you and said to hurry up." So, I picked up one of the bones and waved it in the direction of the car and said, "I am coming already, give me a break!" Next, another woman said her husband had commented on the driver in my car and she wanted to know what kind of dogs I had. I told her Labradoodles and she said, "Well, I told my husband they look like mops." Now, I admit on some days Vern looks like a big, dirty mop, but Fudge never does. Anyway, does this look like a mop to you?

No Fudge looks like a "Daisy" to me and Vern well he looks like Vern.....Adorable on all accounts. She clearly has very cute mops at home - I have a sponge one - ha ha

Well Vern looks alot like Oliver,& Murphy, and he doesn't look like a mop either.  For sure Fudge doesn't look like a mop, or at least no mop that I know of...Dumb people....

Our Daughter always said Daisy looked like a Fraggle - She posted this on her Facebook in Family titled - Fuzzy Sissy. She said this was her family photo. If she was as savvy as she thinks she would have put Daisy's face on one of them don't you think? :-)

Oh how darling.  How on earth did you raise two of these guys at once?  Did they already know how to sit, etc. or did you do all the training also.  I see double tethers!!!!  Absolutely darling pups.

Awiies.  I'll bet she thought they were cute mops.  My DH and friends prefer Sheila's mop look as opposed to a more poodle cut.  Your mops are adorable and must be a sight to see in the front seats!!!

I'm thinking if my mop looked like this my floors might get mopped a little more frequently!

I doubt if she meant to be offensive. Years ago (pre-doodle) I used to call OES mop dogs!! But I thought they were awesome!!

 

The question is "Will Fudge and Vern mop the floors??" LOL!!

 

Our neightbors call Tara a muppet too! And they LOVE her!! I think these are just terms of endearment!! That's how I choose to take it!!

Me, too. By the way, Vern might look like a mop, but he sure doesn't clean like one. Most of the time he comes along right after I have mopped with a mouthful of water or food and messes it all up. Good thing he is so cute.
