Does anyone have experience with breeders of double doodles in WA state?

Looking for a laid back dog to be trained as a therapy dog as well as a family companion.  Would a double doodle be appropriate?  We have always had golden retrievers, but are looking for a smaller dog with a similar temperament.  Also any private breeder suggestions would be helpful.

When you say "therapy dog" do you mean service dog?

Hi Adina,

Thanks for replying.  We want to train the pup as a therapy dog, which means a certification that allows her to visit people in retirement homes, children in schools, etc.  We are not training as a service dog.
