"Who says it has to be food in order to eat it?!?"
Even after surgery to remove non-food items from her stomach, she still tries to eat everything in sight. People in my neighborhood probably think I am the crazy dog lady because I am constantly wrestling things out of her mouth on our walk. The other day, I heard myself saying quite loudly, "I DO NOT have another thousand dollars to spend on you, so DROP IT right nOWWWW!" In spite of this, I still love her!
My dachshund does this! I had the exact same walk experience with her the other day. It was disgusting, but I looked over when she stopped suddenly and she looked up at me with a CONDOM hanging out of her mouth!! Needless to say, I made her drop it without me having to touch it!
It was disgusting! And I live in a really nice neighborhood... no teenagers except for me, and all the other people who live there are like grandparent-age!!
Lucie would definitely be "Its hot! I see water, NEED TO GO IN THE WATER, no swimming? PLEASEEE MOMMM
If there is no water then she will definitely roll around in the mud or any wet substance.
She does this even when it is COLD out! And I keep her fur very short in the summer, she is just VERYYYY heat sensitive, I guess shes always been spoiled with a water option.
Sunny is like that too, but she can't swim! She really like kiddie pools where she can lie down in the water but she won't jump into the pool without her life jacket. She actually goes to the shelf where I keep the lifejacket and brings it to me so I can put it on her and then she goes and jumps in the pool!!
Lucie can come over and swim in our pool! It's inside and heated in the winter!
