Dog Cots
Trixie gets very hot...During the day & At night. During the Day there is Tile she can sleep on. But at Night she only will have her bed or Carpet (she is still in her kennel right now)
Some one brought up cooling mats (another thread)
I am also wondering about Cot Beds. if you have one- Does your Doodle like it?
Do you think they help keep them a little cooler vs a regular dog bed. I thought maybe with air being able to circulate under them it might help.
If you have one...Where did you get it?
Is it washable?

This isnt necessarily what I had in mind. I think a Rectangle shape might work better.
But this might work ok & nice for traveling too.
Look at the Dog Model. Could be a Doodle.

If I remember correctly...I think Taylor and Huff might have one and also Laurie, Vern and Fudge?? Sorry if I'm wrong about that but I would also like to know about them being cooler. I also think that if we spent $ on one that our dogs would just look at it like they do woth every other DOG THING wwe buy.

We don't have the coleman one but the rectangular one. We had a choice of mesh on the botom or no mesh. We got the maesh one (it is at our shop) and the first day his paw ripped through it so we got one with no mesh. And that is pretty nice and he likes to chew his bones on it and lay on it (when its out).

We have one for Harlow that we got for intermediate obedience class to assist in training "place". She loves it and prefers to sleep on it rather than carpet or a regular dog bed. Petedge has a couple of types. I wish I had seen the mesh one when we were shopping for one. May still get anyway.

I decided to order the Cot From Costco. I figured it would be nice to bring places when we go.
Of course after I ordered it I realized it is probably too big for the spot where trixie sleeps in our room...I think by 1-2" I measured awhile ago when we were lookign at crates.
Oh well I think we will like it in other rooms, etc.
I will let you know how she likes it when it arrives.

Vern has the coolaroo bed and goes nuts for it. He LOVES his bed!
I have no idea how to post a video here, but if you go to my page and look at my videos, there are several of Vern on his bed. He still prefers to sleep on the cold, hard floor, but he is constantly digging and rolling in this bed. Fudge does not like this bed at all. She only goes on it, to take a toy from Vern :)
