So my dog is potty trained, but we recently had a job change although I only work 3 days a week I work 12 hour shifts. I don't have anyone who can let my dog out and its just harsh to have him hold it that long so Im considering getting a doggie door. Does anyone have any experience with this? I should also add he's 65 pounds

Ugh, we miss our fenced yard.  We're in a new housing development and no one can put up a fence until 1 year after they've moved in... the house beside us isn't complete so it'll be 1 year after THEY move in, so probably Spring 2020.

I think as soon as they build our back steps (which looks like maybe very soon) I'll attach a long leash to the post and let Riley take herself out for potty breaks :p  That way I don't have to get my boots etc. on just for a 5 second pee lol.

It seems odd to me having to wait a year for a fence. What is the reasoning behind it?

In case there are issues with the grading or anything else to do with the property they need to be able to dig. After a year there's a change in the warranty and issues are no longer their problem :p

Thank you J.  I couldn't figure that out at all in my brain, but it does make sense.
