Dogs at work - study

I strongly believe that bringing a well behaved dog to work is very beneficial for all the parties involved: you, your co-workers, clients, and your dog. CBS recently aired this clip about a study that confirms this. Could somebody please let my boss know?

Dogs at work are wonderful for everyone.Dogs get great socialization and people are less stressed. Sadie who is now five spent the first year of her life going to work with me everyday. I was managing Seniors Assited Living Facilities at the time .

 

The residents loved her and she was excited to go to the facility everyday.If for some reason she didn't attend "work" for the day the residents were very unhappy.One woman would sit and cuddle her for hours when she was a a puppy. I truly think it added years to that woman's life.

Once I switched jobs it was harder to take her. It should have been very easy I had my own office but the manager was so skittish around all dogs that it just wasn't worth it. Sadie was wonderful in the office. She was quiet and would entertain herself with her toys. I believe hat people who do not like dogs/animals do not like people.

I hope you can take your dogto work it is a pawsitive experience.
