I'm out of town and in a boring meeting.  I miss my dood.  It's her first time being boarded and I hope she's ok!  She is just getting potty trained and I hope this doesn't set her back.

ooohh, I wrote some blogs about this very problem last month. I hate leaving my doodlebugs. Doodle daydreaming is torture. Distract yourself with something to keep your mind occupied and you'll be reunited before you know it!

Every now and then when I am really missing Max I ponder setting up webcams at home just to be able to see him. I wonder what those crazy doodles do all day?!?

We found a great doggie nanny.  She's a college student/waitress and we've had great success with having her come and stay at our house while we are gone.  If you can find one it's a great situation as you know they get to stay home, and stick to their routines as much as possible.  When we went to Europe for 2 weeks she even emailed us updates and pictures...plus she is way cheaper than boarding 2 doods!

aww yah! Parker got set back a couple days after he was boarded and still in potty training! He came home and the next day just took a huge poop in the middle of the kitchen floor when he felt like it even though he hadn't pooped in the house for weeks before that! He goes to a dog sitter now so it's more like home and he can't just "go" anywhere he wants lol

I hate leaving my doodles when I travel too.  I am very lucky to have my BF stay at my house and take care of the doodles and I know they are in the best of care when he is watching them.  I know he spoils them a bit more than I do but it is well worth the piece of mind that they are being cared for in their own home.  I had to board other dogs that I had in the past, of course I was worried about them but they always did fine and was happy to see me when I picked them up.
