Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
On Sunday while driving in front of my DD leaving a friends house I passed a young lady walking an obvious "ginger red" goldendoodle, he was tall and lanky and obviously an older puppy. Of course driving by made me slow down and ask "is that a doodle?" which of course caused my DD behind me to have her DH text me to stop talking to the doodle and drive. And then this morning while driving to work I passed a woman walking her, again obvious doodle but I was on a main road and could not ask which golden or lab....thinking to myself, wow, I sure have been seeing a lot of doodles lately and no sooner did I think that but I pulled next to another car with a cream colored doodle in it. We just smiled and nodded at each others doodles in our respective cars. I typically don't engage men, if it had been a woman I assure you we would have had a conversation.
Doodles doodles everywhere. Has anyone else noticed there seems to be a whole lot of them lately?

Yes! I have noticed this too! I had a woman stop me the other day while I was driving with the girls to take a picture of Soph. She said she had just gotten a 9 week old Shepadoodle (GSD and standard poodle). I have never seen a Shepadoodle. I wish she had it with her!
I think we have a sheepadoodle here on DK somewhere...I 'll bet someone with brain cells will remember.
Lisa:
Shepadoodle-German Shepard and Poodle
Sheepadoodle- Old English Sheepdog and Poodle
common mistake and that may be just a typo on your part.
I think the woman with the Shepadoodle ...her name may be Brinkley....? Christie Brinkley but not related. That is all I can remember without looking it up.
Yep, it was a typo, I knew it was a GSD
Ahhhh here is the one I remember. She is not very active any longer but a really nice person.

Kris and Brinkley
I have a sheepadoodle. She is Old English Sheepdog/Standard Poodle. Thanks for forgetting about me....LOL!!!!
My area lacks in doodles, have only seen 2 at the groomers.
We love Pebbles!
Thanks Andrea and Ricki!!!
Yup, went to Petco yesterday and met an unfriendly golden doodle. My doodles were shocked : )
More doodles in my neighborhood recently, too.
But this is not such a good thing. Great popularity has been the ruin of many dog breeds.
Karen, that is what I was thinking, but then again, I got a doodle because of all the doodles I had met and fell in love....it was bound to happen.
Lets just say this, there are many many GR's and LABS and Poodles and none of them are ruined, right? One can only hope.
