Doodle Jumping up? Solved!!!

Our 9 month old Doodle, Cady Grace would always, always jump up on my husband.

Frankly after 31 years of marriage my giddiness for him has worn off and I just couldn't

understand it.  She would also bite his toes while he sat in his chair.

I had seen "Pet Zoom" on an infommercial and was going to get it and then

saw it at Walgreens.  The results were INSTANTEOUS!  My husband and

my mouths dropped open.  He only used it twice- emitted the signal- and

now he doesn't even have to press it- he just picks it up and she Knows......

A-mazing.  Go get one if you have this problem!  Or I'm sure they're

also online.....

I'm going to be interested in the responses on this. We got one and like you I thought I had found the answer to many of my problems. Initially it worked really well on Sophie and ok on Lucy. Then they got used to it and could care less. Now if I put it in the drawer for awhile and bring it back out it does the same thing, works for a little while, then not so much. My sister has one and it works great on her dogs, but they are small so I'm wondering if it is more effective with smaller dogs. not sure how big Cady Grace is? Isn't that expensive, so is worth a try.

Cady is a mini doodle so 30 lbs.... and it's still working. Now she cocks her head when it comes out.
I'm using it for other commands also.

It emits a loud noise that they can hear, but you can't. Supposed to be something they don't like so they stop the behavior. Many dogs after once or twice all you have to do is show it to them and they stop.

What is it called? The brand name. I want to use it for barking in the RV if it is appropriate.

Nancy ... The one she used is "Pet Zoom". I think there are many brands. I got mine from Petsmart.com. Most all of them are blue for some reason.

It has "Pet Zoom" printed on the unit. Haven't tried it for bark solving.

Thanks, I thought Pet Zoom was the TV thing and not the product. Duh! I will check it out as soon as I can and see if I think it might work for barking. I will let you know.

Yes, let me know if it works for barking but honestly, you point it at them (not even emitting the
signal) and give them a command they'll mind you! Again, amazing. That just shows
you how smart they are and that they remember what it DID sound like....

It is that commercial on the TV that shows a dog barking and it stops immediately when they push the button! I wonder if I can use it when Gracie wants to greet the UPS man when I open the door. She loves those delivery guys!

OH that is wonderful...I am going to have to try this, I have an 8lb doodle and his jumping on people can really hurt someone.
