Doodle up to adult.

We have a unique doodle mix. 75%golden 25% poodle. Wondering if anyone has the same type? Also, do you think he will get wavy or straighter?

Lindsay, you need to post a picture of your puppy so we can see him better.  There are lots of others who have your configuration, although it is not considered the best way to go, if you want a better chance of non- or less- shedding and a traditional 'doodle look.'

OOPs, I saw that I hadn't finished before adding reply.  The non-traditional doodle look is more of a mini-retriever which is distinctive to those that know the possible mix 'looks' and sought after by those that want a retriever but just not as large.

Hamilton's mom is an F1B and his Dad is a pure bred golden retriever. We are wondering the same thing! We have been getting mixed feedback on what people think but either way we are just excited to have him as part of our family. I'll keep you posted on his growth and coat changes! Here's him at 8 weeks.

He's so cute! His coat looks very similar to our little guy, who is an Irish Goldendoodle - 25% golden, 25% poodle, 50% Irish setter. I'm curious to see how ours turns out, too- his hair looks straight overall, but up close it has a very wiry/wavy texture and his ears are slightly wavy.
