Doodle Kisses and The Western PA Romp made the local papers. Please allow me to take a moment to brag about making the front page of the Meadville Tribune. Other pictures should be in the photogallery later today.
We should be proud our Doodlekisses website and the fundraiser for IDOG made the news! Here is the link, enjoy.
Yes that was Spud and my hubby. I am way back there in the photo. Adina, I did give them the correct website address "several times" but as you know, its gets busy and crazy with all kinds of puppies running around. I will have to print out those cards you linked us to last week! :)
It took Spud about 2 seconds to learn to jump through the hoop. I think he was just showing off--he took a liking to that photographer and would not stop following him around. :) Spud Dog Millionaire?
I was born and raised in Meadville, but have been away for a long time. I always go online to check out the obits (I know that's morbid, but how else will I find out if anyone I know is in them?). I saw the article this morning and was so excited to see the references to IDOG and DK. I wondered if that was your dog jumping through the hoop. That dog park sounds like a really great place -- we grew up going to Conneaut Lake amusement park. I will have to check it out the next time I am up that way.
The picture of you both is great! What an acrobate Spud is! Where was that equipment? I didn't see it.
Did you get a link to all the pictures that he took Saturday?
I cross posted this on The Doodle Zoo, I hope you don't mind. How exciting. I am very proud of what we did for IDOG that day plus all of the fun we had. Spud is a real showman. He looks like he loved that hoop. I was to receive an email from the Erie paper with the pics he took but haven't received it yet. This was a different photographer, I think.
Of course I don't mind. This is a good reflection for all of us and all the fun we had, and an awareness for IDOG and DoodleKisses. :)
I have never heard of Doodle Zoo. I will check it out.
Let me see if I can find the picture from the Erie PA paper. I looked for it yesterday and found one picture, but I don't know if it was one of our dogs. That was the other photographer who arrived when we were still in the Bustle Area of the Park.
Since Spud is still a young thing with left over energy to play, we stayed long after everyone had left. This photographer arrived around 4pm for another paper. He was a sweetie and a dog lover and seemed to be enjoying the park also.
