Doodles and freshly mowed lawns

Our freshly mowed backyard always sticks to my doodle's paws and dirties up the house with grass. How does everyone deal with this? Should I get her some booties? Which ones?

You could buy a Paw Plunger - google it it's on Amazon.  We just got one for muddy paws. I bet you could use it dry to get off grass since it has soft bristle on the inside.

Thanks for all your ideas! I forgot to mention that issue is that the grass clippings are wet and stick  to not just the paws but in the fur of the paw all over the place since it's wet. I dipped each of her paws in a bowl of water to get most of them out but some of them were still stuck in there. I can't imagine going through that procedure every time our grass gets cut! This is a new issue, since we moved into a new house with a big yard that we didn't have before..

I have noticed it only lasts a day or two after the grass is cut and then it's much better.

Grass should. Be mown when dry, better for the grass : )

If they are wet, I highly recommend the Paw Plunger (as someone else did). I saw it on an older discussion and gave it a try and could not believe how awesome it is... like infomercial awesome. Haha :)

Libby is the happiest when the lawn has just been mowed:)   She gets out there and runs and runs and actually not that much grass is on her paws when she comes in.  She has been trained to go directly to her pillow, so I guess that helps to get if off.

I wipe paws and sweep up occasionally. Bootees seem excessive for mown grass.

I was going to say what F Parker did.  If you can have your lawn mowed after it's a bit drier in the day, you can avoid a lot of this and then there will be less time when it is going to be a problem.

Or I will mail you Auggie for a couple of weeks and you won't have any grass after that. :-) That's what happened with our backyard. Grass is not an issue anymore. ;-)
