Doodley Poodley Fur Growing!!

I am so happy to report that my 5 month old golden doodle is starting to grow some doodle fur....yyyaaaayyyy!! His whole back from the nape of his neck to his tail has beautiful thick curls....still hasnt started on his face or legs yet but I am hopeful:)

 

I will have to take some new pics and share his new little curls that are coming:)

Bailey is 5 months old also.  Her coat is more of a thick wavy hair.  I love her this way.  I hope she doesn't change.  Strangers either think she is "just a golden" or they take a guess...I had a lady yesterday in PetSmart ask if she was a cocker poo...LOL.  Someone also asked me if she was a Wheaton...Really!!!

 

Mr Tucker is beautiful...very sweet face that boy has!  Can't wait to see pictures.  Oh, and don't feel bad about the DH. Mine always says he is at the bottom of the list too!  I tell him if he loved me as much as Bailey does, came to the door always wagging his tail and loved me unconditionally I would love him as much as I love Bailey ROFL...

OMG....I love his funky stick up hair....how cute is that!!! Bailey is cute as a button!!

I think that look is one of my favorite Doodle looks. I think Bailey is Stuart's sister, right? He is another one I love to see pictures of and can't wait to see what he looks like as an adult.

Yeah that's more curly than Luna was - it looks like he will be wavy most likely, but with a smooth face.  He's so adorable!

Yay! I see by your post that he is really getting some curls there.  I see some waves on the chest too.

Looks like Tucker is going to live up to his baby name of curly!.. He is so cute. I can't get over the difference between him and Chester.

Chester's legs and front have a wee bit of curl and when he is wet he has a bit of wave but mostly just our fuzzball.

We are starting to get a few matts too.

Hazel it is really funny and a testament to how much the coat does change in the doodles...for those of you that dont know what we are talking about,Hazel's Chester and my Tucker are brothers and when they were young the breeder had names she gave each of the puppies.Tucker's name was Curly as he was the curliest of the lot.Now out of the litter there is only one that has less curl than Tucker and it is his sister Penelope(now Daisy)

I am really thinking that Tucker is going to end up looking like his Dad.I think Chester is going to look like the Mom(both of them are goldendoodles)
