Doodling out age

So just starting to get into the swing of all things doodle. Just wondering at what age do these guys start to "doodle out" ? My guy looks very retrieverish to me and just wondering when I may start to see some of those doodle features? Thanks!!!

Oh he's darling!  He's definitely got long hairs around his face and he will doodle out just fine.  Retrievers have much smoother/shorter snouts and facial furnishings.  I think around 5-6 months you'll see some good doodley-ness :-)
