Wrigley's nose has been drier than normal lately, on top. It's still wet inside but the top has this dark line on it and I was wondering if other people have the same thing sometimes. We live in San Diego and it's been warmer and drier than usual lately (we've had a ton of rain and it didn't happen during that). Can I put some vasaline or something else on it to moisturize it? Thanks!

We use Musher's secret on their nose and paws when they get dry, I think here it it from the snow and possibly salt...Not sure about vaseline..
Daisy's nose is dry 90% of the time, now when it's wet I think somethings wrong. The Vet says dry nose is not a problem...she gets plenty of fluids.
This is true with my guys as well, but I think it's because they're spending so much time closed up with the dry heat.  Murph takes care of it himself by "diving" into his water bowl, but I have noticed this with Guinness particularly in the last two weeks.  I use Musher's for their paws...maybe I need to dab a bit on Guinness's nose.
Thanks for the input everyone. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't painful or anything for him! I'll get some Aquaphor today and try that!
