I am glad the story is getting attention. I am also hoping that whoever did this really didn't know what they had done. I don't like thinking that there are people in the world that would knowlingly leave after doing this....
Marissa...I sincerely hope you feel the love and support of your DK friends right now. We are all thinking of you! Even though Dublin's time was cut short, you are a hero to have brought him into your home to foster him. Remember that!

Dublin's story ran on the 4pm local Pittsburgh TV news!! Marissa just got a call and the station are sending over a TV crew to interview Seamus!
Maybe higher powers had a reason that Dublin had to die! Maybe there was a reason that Marissa & Seamus were the ones who fostered Dublin! Maybe there really is a reason!! Just MAYBE this will bring to light the issue of rescue and how we as humans treat children and animals! Just maybe there is really a G-d watching over Doodles

This is so unbelievably sad. It is so unfair, so I am hoping there is a bigger picture that I am not seeing. I hope the police catch this guy and charge him.

OMG! I read the news article. The accident happened less than a 1/2 mile from my childhood home. My family moved from Crafton (Dakota St) to Atlanta in the mid 60's. I remember that area. Even more heart breaking. Hopefully the driver will read/hear the story and turn him/her self in. We are keeping close in our thoughts and hearts.
