Ear Licking

[Dot, Maggie and KoKo]

Maggie has a new thing going on - she licks KoKo's inner ear.  KoKo doesn't object but I'm afraid she will end up with an ear infection. What's with the ear licking?  I scold Maggie for this new behavior but she continues to do this.  Any suggestions?

So good to hear other dogs do this. Our mini labradoodle does this to our standard labradoodle and our son and daughter-in-law's dogs. The licker enjoys it and so does the one being licked.

My Aja just started doing that to Mya and Shea,Mya doesn't really like it but Shea will down right now forthe ear licks.They all are about to turn Two years old.No problems so far. But now I'm going to watch for infections.
