It's October, and in Oklahoma that means the beginning of deer season. I come from a family that loves to farm and hunt... Someone killed a Bambi this morning and now that all the "good" meat has been picked over we have a few organ meats that I feel like I should be able to use and dehydrate for my girls.
Sooo, would there be anything wrong with dehydrating some liver, heart, and lungs for my fur kids to snack on? Does anyone have experience? So far I'm just chopping into bite sized chunks to freeze of dehydrate.
If ANYONE has experience with making dog treats from leftover organ meat please chime in. :)
