Just goes to show you there are a lot of remarkable people in this world. This deputy jumped in a muddy pond to save a bull, as her partner stood by to shoot any approaching alligators. What a gal!!

At least, I think it is your gun." I have already begun my opening line for my chapter :) OMD.....I can't stop giggling!

Well, Laurie, I think you are just the person to talk to. Many years ago, we started these trips for our doodles (virtual of course) on Dogster at the Doodle Connection. Oh, the places we went! It started with the Inaugural Ball, then the Super Bowl, Valentine's trip to a spa in Oregon, a trip to New Orleans and Rio for carnival, etc. Well, it was a blast. Someone actually wrote me an e-mail asking is she could sign up for the trip to Rio. The whole virtual thing was amazing. The lady who was the ring leader (along with me of course) passed away and I left the Doodle Connection and came over to DoodleKisses, but there was a great history there of our great doodle trips. All you need is a person to host a part or trip, and it just takes off. Think about it. It is just down your line. I tried to post some photos from our trips, but they are all buried somewhere in my portable hard drive. I can dig them up if you are interested. I know you do a real cruise, but the virtual is so much fun too. I will try to dig up some Smileboxes of the trips.
