Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
Please contact me if you have a female standard or medium goldendoodle puppy available in a light color. Our sweet goldendoodle, Emma recently passed away. She was the first goldendoodle our family has ever had and we fell immediately in love with her. We miss her very much. Even though we'll never replace or forget her, I thought it would be a nice surprise for my kids to have a puppy to raise. We got Emma when she was 3, so they've never had a puppy.

Do you think about adopting from Doodle Rescue..?
Yes...I would love to do that. But I checked there and couldn't find one. Actually there was one, but she couldn't be around kids and she lived in Canada. I'm so new to this. I may not have checked the right Doodle Rescue sight. Do you happen to know where I can look? And...thank you!
Rescues very rarely have true puppies. And rescues are reluctant to allow dogs to go to homes with young children. We have a group for goldendoodle breeders looking to sell. Also look at what to look for in a breeder.

Thank you. I will check that out.
I posted on your page. Our breeder might be perfect for you.
Allyson and Peri.... I couldn't find your post. Could you tell me how to see it? I'm new to this site and I don't get on Facebook, so I'm not very good at knowing my way around social media sites. Thanks!
Here's the link to your page, Alicia: http://www.doodlekisses.com/profile/AliciaAtteberry
As F said, scroll down to the "Comments" section near the bottom of your page, and you'll see one from Allyson.
Thank you.... and sorry I'm so computer illiterate! I was about to have my 12 yr old explain it:) I sent Allyson a message back.
You should also have gotten a notification via email that Allyson left a comment on your page. Do you get those?
Hi Alicia, I am very sorry for the loss of Emma.
Please read the link that F provided for you above on what to look for in a breeder. It is very important to verify that the parents have had genetic testing. I know that you will want to do everything you can to make sure that your new puppy is healthy and your children don't have to go through another heartbreak any time soon. All puppies are adorable, and may seem healthy, but most devastating genetic disorders do not show up until a dog is older. Any breeder who is breeding untested dogs is not being responsible, and should be avoided.
I would also like to remind everyone that the DK Guidelines prohibit breeders from posting puppies for sale, litters, etc. here in the main forum. This can only be done in the appropriate groups. Please do not post about available puppies here in this discussion. Your cooperation is appreciated.
I will look into that for sure. I definitely don't want my kids or us to have the heartbreak again of losing a precious friend. Thank you!
