what about hair obscuring my doodles view? Seems to me that no matter how cute it is, the hair really ought to be cut away from their eyes.

Ideas> Advice?

The "Dog Whisperer" says you have to look them in the eye and
you can't do that with hair obscuring the view!

When wilson's hair gets too bushy around his eyes we trim them, I have my DH do it because I don't want to screw it up
I love seeing his eyes

We just cut Peri's last night- just a little trim around the eyes - she licked us while we did it =)
Just don't cut the eyelashes - that is their signature look in my opinion!

Thank you all sooooo much for your feedback.
I feel the same way...That it's important to have eye contact.
In fact, If i am wearing sunglasses, I find myself moving them so that Cooper and Lester can look into my eyes.
I'm positive they understand more when we have eye contact.
I know it's more respectful to do so.
