Fence Size

We are thinking of getting a fence for the backyard  now Wilson is pretty good about staying in the yard but do not want to take any chances    he is 27inches tall.  How tall should then fence be ??? My DH thinks 3 feet would be tall enough  but   I want to go 4  what are your ideas

Six feet for sure. Gracie Doodle has never had any desire to jump a fence until one day all her dog friends were out in front and she wouldn't wait for me to put my shoes on to take her out. She cleared our 4 ft. driveway gate without a starting run. Just from a standing jump!!! We have now extended it to 6 ft. Better safe than sorry!!! Thanks to agility training she is a beautiful jumper!!
